Kyle Monson

Kyle Monson has a diverse work experience starting from 2003. Kyle worked as a Service Technician at Northwest Mailing, Inc from August 2003 to October 2004. Kyle then joined Benton County PUD as a Meter Reader from November 2004 to November 2008. Following this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Flying Lab Software from November 2008 to August 2009. From August 2009 to December 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where they were responsible for testing, debugging, maintenance, and new feature work for various projects. Kyle also served as a Task Lead and utilized programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, C#, and SQL. In 2012, they founded and currently leads a Python Users group online. Lastly, they are currently employed as a Principal Controls Software Engineer at 8minute Solar Energy since January 2019.

Kyle Monson attended Washington State University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
