Lainie Petersen

Lainie Petersen is an accomplished magazine editor and media professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and writing. Currently serving as the Magazine Editor for Radio Ink Magazine since April 2023, Lainie also co-hosts the Chicago Wine Report & No Chalice Required, transitioning from WCGO radio to podcast and newsletter formats. In addition, Lainie has held the role of Editor of Walmart & Retail News at 8th & Walton since June 2012, focusing on industry news concerning Walmart and retail. Lainie co-founded Hard Lens Media and contributed as a host from July 2019 to March 2023, while also serving as a Theater Correspondent for WCGO's Playtime with Bill Turck & Kerri Kendall from January 2019 to December 2021, reporting on local theater news. Lainie's educational background includes a Master of Library and Information Science from Dominican University, a Master of Theological Studies, and a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, along with a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Illinois State University.
