Marcus Goritz

Marcus Goritz is an experienced engineer specializing in mechatronics and fine mechanics, with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from Fachhochschule Kiel. Presently serving as Entwicklungsingenieur at 8tronix GmbH since May 2020, Marcus has also been actively involved with The Things Network Kiel as an Initiator and as a Co-Founder of the IoT Kiel Community since 2018. Prior roles include Elektroingenieur at EGE-Elektronik Spezial-Sensoren GmbH, Test Engineer at Treo - Labor für Umweltsimulation GmbH, and Team Lead Electric/Electronic at Hoppe Bordmesstechnik GmbH, where responsibilities included product development, technical support, and management. Earlier experience includes a research internship focused on circuit technology at Vossloh Locomotives GmbH.
