Bogdan Muresan

Bogdan Muresan is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and mobile application development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Mobile Apps and Platforms at 8x8 since February 2017, Bogdan excels in building cross-functional teams and developing processes to enhance product delivery while ensuring effective communication with the executive team. Previously, as a Senior Engineering Manager at 8x8, Bogdan managed mobile and platform teams across different time zones, focusing on cloud telephony and high-quality software releases. Prior experience includes leading mobile development at SOFTVISION for the Pinger startup, where Bogdan drove product growth through innovative tactics. Early career experience as a Software Engineer was gained at both SOFTVISION and Brinel. Bogdan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
