Ashley Whaley

Ashley Whaley has a long and varied work experience. Ashley began their career in 2011 as a Student and Resident Assistant at the University of North Texas. In 2013, they began working at Denton ISD as a Kindergarten Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and Extended School Day Instructor. In 2014, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at NEXTGENAUTO. In 2017, they began working at Neighborhood Charter Schools as a Kindergarten Teacher. In 2018, they began working at Jordan School District as an Instructional Coach, Kindergarten Teacher, and Intervention Specialist. In 2021, they began working at Summit Academy Charter School as a Virtual First Grade Teacher and at Denton ISD as a Reading Recovery Teacher/Instructional Coach. In 2022, they began working at 95 Percent Group LLC as a Sales Development Representative.

Ashley Whaley attended the University of North Texas from 2011 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing. Ashley then went on to the iTeach Texas Alternative Certification Program from 2015 to 2017 and earned their ESL EC-6 Generalist certification. Following this, they earned their Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas in 2017. Additionally, Ashley Whaley is currently enrolled in the Reading Recovery Teacher program at Texas Woman's University, which they are expected to complete in May 2022. Ashley also obtained a certification in Retailing from the University of North Texas.
