Brenna Westerhoff has been working as an Educational Consultant for the 95 Percent Group LLC since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Educational Consultant for 21st Century Global Literacy Consulting from 2022 to 2023. From 2002 to 2022, they were employed by Geneva Community Unit School District 304, where they held various roles including Middle School Principal, Elementary School Principal, Student Assistance Coordinator (Elementary School Assistant Principal), and Middle School Language Arts Teacher. As Middle School Principal, they drove the execution of all aspects of the middle school's operations, strategy, and growth. As Elementary School Principal, they transformed student and staff engagement shifting state designation from "Underperforming" to "Commendable." As Student Assistance Coordinator (Elementary School Assistant Principal), they assisted the principal with professional development, data collection, and management/operations of a school building. As Middle School Language Arts Teacher, they designed differentiated curriculum through Understanding by Design unit development, instruction, and assessments.
Brenna Westerhoff began their educational journey at Northern Illinois University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in English from 1998 to 2002. Brenna then attended Aurora University, where they obtained their Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning from 2006 to 2007, as well as an Illinois Type 75 Principal's Endorsement from 2012 to 2013. Brenna also attended Concordia University, where they earned their Master of Arts in Reading Instruction from 2008 to 2009. Most recently, they obtained their Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California from 2018 to 2021.
