Dr. Karen Kemp has worked in various roles in the education sector since 1985. Her career began in Utah, where they worked as a Program Specialist, Educational Consultant, and Adjunct Faculty. In 1994, they moved to Schoharie CSD, where they worked as a Director of Curriculum and Compensatory. In 1996, they became a Consultant and Systems Improvement Specialist at Tennessee Associates International. In 1997, they worked as a Pupil Services Coordinator and Assistant Principal at Stillwater CSD. In 1998, they began working as a Director of Special Education at Brittonkill CSD. In 1999, they started working as an Administrator at Cohoes City Schools/Private Consultant. In 2011, they became the Past Co-President of the Council of New York Special Education Administrators. In 2013, they began working as a Senior Staff Consultant at Measurement Incorporated. Finally, in 2017, they began working as a Senior Client Manager and Client Manager at 95 Percent Group LLC, and also as a Consultant.
Dr. Karen Kemp holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from Simmons University, a BS in Education from SUNY Geneseo, and an MA in Special Education/Vocational Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Karen also has a certification in School District Administration.
