Georgella Muirhead

Georgella Muirhead, APR, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of 98Forward since March 2022. Prior to this role, Muirhead co-founded and worked as Of Counsel at Van Dyke•Horn Public Relations from 2016 to 2022. Muirhead has extensive experience in communications, having held the position of President at both Berg Muirhead and Associates (1998-2015) and Georgella Muirhead Communications, Inc. (1997-1998). Additional roles include Director of the Office of Communications for the Wayne County Commission (1995-1996), Deputy Director of the Department of Communications and Creative Services for the City of Detroit (1994-1995), Director of the Department of Public Information for the City of Detroit (1986-1993), Director of the Department of Community Relations for the City of Southfield (1981-1986), Public Information Officer for the City of East Lansing (1977-1981), and Public Information Assistant for the City of Ann Arbor (1971-1977).
