Fiona Browne

Fiona Browne is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at 9fin since July 2024, Fiona previously held several key roles at Datactics from June 2019 to July 2024, including Chief Technology Officer and Head of Software Development and Machine Learning. In academia, Fiona contributed as a Lecturer at the University of Ulster from September 2013 to July 2024 and as a Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast from September 2010 to September 2013. Earlier career highlights include a position as Senior Software Developer at PathXL from May 2009 to September 2010. Fiona holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistical Analysis and Machine Learning, earned at Ulster University, alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science.
