Vesa Kämäräinen

Vesa Kämäräinen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in executive leadership, consulting, and board governance. Currently, Vesa serves as the Founder, Senior Consultant, and Chair of Starec, focusing on executive search and M&A services for growth businesses and scale-ups. Vesa holds multiple board positions, including Chairman of the Board at PreMed A/S and 9Lives Group, and Board Member roles at Live-säätiö, Reslink Solutions Ltd, and Awanic Oy. Vesa's previous accomplishments include co-founding and leading Nordic Healthcare Group as CEO, where M&A and international expansion were key responsibilities. Vesa has an academic background with a Dr. Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management and an M.Sc in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Currently, Vesa is also an Associate Professor in Management of Professional Services at Aalto University.
