Mike Harris has held various roles in the project management field since 1998. Mike began their career as a Senior Consultant at KPMG and then moved to BearingPoint as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager. In 2004, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate Project Manager, specializing in project management, process improvement, knowledge management, supply chain management, risk management, human capital, and change management. After that, in 2018, they became an Independent Management Consultant, working with mid-size non-profit global organizations located within the state of Virginia. In 2016, they returned to TEKsystems as a Senior Technical Project Manager, managing the business and IT life cycles of a medicaid healthcare project. Mike then joined Marathon Consulting in 2019 as a Project Manager, leading the implementation and adaptation of a cloud based solution for a multi-branded merchandise realtor. In 2020, they worked as a Project Manager for both Busch Vacuum Solutions and TEKsystems, where they were the Lead PM for NAVSEA upgrade of Norfolk Naval Shipyard Wireless System Upgrade. Currently, they serve as the First Sergeant (1st Sgt) for the US Air Force Reserve, where they are responsible for promoting the Health, Welfare and Morale of 100+ personnel.

Mike Harris has a long history of educational achievements. Mike obtained their BS in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in 1995, majoring in Marketing Management. Mike then went on to pursue an MBA in Transportation and Supply Chain from the same university in 1996-1997. In 2010, they completed Post Graduate Studies in Change Management from Georgetown University - The McDonough School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications: Certified Knowledge Management Professional from the KM Professional Society in 2012, Change Management Advanced Practitioner from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in 2010, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Booz Allen Hamilton in 2004, and PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2007.
