Omar Quintero-McCall has been working in the IT industry since 1997. Omar began their career with IBM as an IT Specialist, where they implemented an IT Enterprise Control Center Infrastructure for the outsourcing of Halliburton Energy Services in 6 Latin American countries. Omar then moved to PEC Solutions, where they worked as an Enterprise Management Systems Engineer for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), US International Trade Commission, and DEA. In 2005, they joined NGS as a Senior Enterprise Management Systems Engineer for the ATF and in 2006 they became an Information Technology Executive at Encentric, Inc., where they managed a portfolio of multiple active contracts. In 2020, they joined Zolon Tech Inc. as a Senior Project Manager for the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and in 2021 they began working as a Program Manager for 9th Way Insignia. Additionally, since 2012, they have been a Mountaineer for Athletic Activities, where they record strenuous or relevant/prominent hikes.

Omar Quintero-McCall has an extensive education history. Omar obtained a High School/Secondary Diploma Programs from Liceo Militar Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (LIMILAYA) between 1987 and 1992. Omar then went on to earn a BS in Systems Engineer from Instituto Universitario Politecnico de las Fuerzas Armadas between 1993 and 1998. In 2001 and 2002, they obtained an MS in Telecommunications & Computers from The George Washington University. Omar also attended Leadership Center for Excellence between 2014 and 2015.
