Principal Scientist at A-Alpha Bio

Danielle Van Citters currently serves as Principal Scientist at A-Alpha Bio since April 2023. Previously, Danielle held various roles at Neoleukin Therapeutics, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in Molecular Biology, where significant contributions included establishing a Molecular Biology Core and developing high-throughput cloning methods. At Just - Evotec Biologics, Danielle designed a phage display platform for antibody discovery and built a cloning platform capable of handling over 1,000 sequences weekly. Prior experience includes establishing antibody optimization platforms and managing genetic engineering projects at Aptevo Therapeutics and Alder Biopharmaceuticals, respectively. Danielle began as a Research Scientist at the University of Washington, focusing on high-throughput DNA genotyping. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Fisheries from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s in Biology from California State University, Long Beach.
