Davis Goodnight

Scientist II at A-Alpha Bio

Davis Goodnight is a scientist at A-Alpha Bio. Previously, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2015 to February 2022, where they studied cell-cycle regulation of heterochromatin. Before that, they were a research assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York from September 2013 to May 2015, where they worked on department of biological sciences and department of physics. Goodnight's work focuses on adapting and optimizing in vivo biotinylation strategy for localized histone labeling and tracking.

Dr. Davis Goodnight received their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Davis also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biophysics from Columbia University in the City of New York. Dr. Goodnight began their educational career at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, a public high school for academically gifted students.
