Parker Shaffer

Parker Shaffer is a Lab Operations Associate at A-Alpha Bio. Prior to that, they were a Business Development Representative at GrowthPlug and an Admitted Student Weekend Coordinator at Gonzaga University.

Parker has always been interested in helping others and making a difference. As Business Development Representative, they helped clients by establishing solid relationships and providing them with information about GrowthPlug's products. Parker generated their first sale within their first 25 days, setting a company record.

As Admitted Student Weekend Coordinator, Parker was responsible for orchestrating events for 500 admitted students over a 24-hour period. Parker also secured funding and donations from local businesses to help cover the costs of the event. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Parker assisted in the formation of a novel online experience for admitted students.

Parker Shaffer's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gonzaga University, a degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, and graduation from Central Catholic High School in Portland.

Their manager is Ryan Swanson, Senior Director of Biologics R&D. They are on a team with Mackenzie Croy - Senior Research Associate, Colleen Shikany - Research Associate, and Sam Halabiya - Lab Operations Manager.
