Attila K Csongrady

Attila K Csongrady is a seasoned professional in banking and finance, currently serving in the Debt Finance division for Central Eastern Europe at A&O Shearman since May 2024, and has been with Allen & Overy since May 2014 in a similar capacity. A prior role at DLAP involved responsibilities in Banking and Finance across CEE, SEE, and CIS from April 2013 to March 2014. From September 2006 to March 2013, Attila was Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where the English law banking and finance practice for CEE, SEE, and CIS was established and led. Attila began a career at Allen & Overy LLP in London as a Senior Associate focused on leveraged finance from January 2000 to December 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Sciences in Economics and International Finance from Corvinus University of Budapest, an LLM from Boston University School of Law, and recognition as a Chevening Scholar. Attila is also involved in academia as a lecturer for a Master's Programme at Universität für Weiterbildung Krems, a position held from 2013 to 2025.
