Carmen Chan

Carmen Chan is an experienced HR professional currently serving as HR Manager at A&O Shearman since May 2024, following the merger of Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling. Previously, Carmen held the position of Assistant Manager in Human Resources at Allen & Overy from September 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as HR Business Partner for the South East Asia region at Inchcape Shipping Services, and as Senior HR Advisor at The China Navigation Company, where focus areas included people management and recruitment across multiple locations. Carmen also worked as Head Coach at the Public Speaking Academy, specializing in public speaking training, and completed a regional HR internship at IBM. Carmen holds a Bachelor in Social Science (Psychology) from Singapore Management University, earned in 2016.
