Hemamala Liyanage

Hemamala Liyanage currently serves as the Group Finance Manager at Durdans Hospital since July 2024. Prior to this role, Hemamala has been with A. Baur & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. since December 2006, holding positions including Deputy Finance Manager and Accountant with responsibilities in various areas, including GP Finance and fertiliser accounting. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Accountant at CBN Sat from May 2005 to November 2006 and as Senior Audit Associate at PwC from January 2001 to December 2003. Hemamala holds a finance and auditing membership from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, is pursuing a membership with the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, and possesses a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Bedfordshire. Education was also completed at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka.
