Frank Mayer

Associate General Counsel at A-CAP

Frank Mayer has held a variety of legal roles since 2013. In 2013, they were a Judicial Intern at the Superior Court of New Jersey, where they assisted the law clerk with filing and research assignments related to criminal matters, and observed courtroom proceedings and trials. In 2014, they were a Law Clerk at Goldstein Hall PLLC, where they conducted research, drafted motions, answers, warrants, memoranda, and notices related to landlord/tenant disputes, mortgage issues, and insurance liability. In 2015, they were a Legal Intern at Brookfield Investment Management Inc., where they researched FINRA and SEC regulations to ensure fund and investor compliance, compiled data bases for dealer agreements and investment management agreements, and constructed pricing policy charts for fund analysis. Since 2016, they have been at A-CAP, where they are currently the Associate General Counsel. Frank also held the role of Assistant Counsel. At A-CAP, they are responsible for the operation of life insurance companies and an asset manager called A-CAP Management, which invests in CLOs, CMBS, asset based and collateralized lending, direct real estate lending, private credit, and equity for both internal and external clients with Assets Under Management currently at $6 billion and growing.

Frank Mayer attended Montclair Kimberley Academy from 2005 to 2009. Frank then went on to Muhlenberg College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration and Management. Frank continued their studies at New York Law School from 2013 to 2016, graduating with a Juris Doctor. Additionally, they obtained a Legal Research Certified for Lexis Advance from LexisNexis in October 2013 and a Volunteer Coach Certified from Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Clinic in August 2013.
