Clarissa Adams is a seasoned Day Treatment Therapist currently employed at A Caring Alternative, LLC since October 2018. Previously, Clarissa served in similar roles at Family Preservation Services from July 2017 to October 2018 and at Mission Health as a Clinical Social Work Intern from August 2016 to May 2017. Early career experiences include positions as an Intake Specialist at the Macon County Department of Social Services and an Intern/Volunteer with Guardian Ad Litem. Clarissa also gained leadership experience as a Resident Assistant at WCU Residential Living and as a New Member Educator for Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, Inc. Clarissa holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, both obtained from Western Carolina University.

As a provider of mental health and developmental disability services, we have been in business since 2006.
