Mike Ryan

Mike Ryan is the founder and CEO of A Different Engine, an innovative agency established in March 2009 that collaborates with media and entertainment brands such as Comcast, Cox, ESPN, Red Bull Media House, and Neil Young. Mike has played a key role in launching significant projects like the UFC streaming application on Roku devices and Comcast's Sochi Olympics service on X1 set-top boxes. Prior to this role, Mike served as Senior Development Manager at TVWorks, where leadership was demonstrated in the development of Comcast's first generation of EBIF interactive television applications, and worked as an ITV Engineer at TechTV, focusing on interactive television application development. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BA in Radio and Television from San Francisco State University, complemented by early education at Mills High School and Nueva.
