Mario Cilliers

Mario Cilliers has extensive work experience in data engineering and business intelligence development. Mario is currently employed at A-Gas as a Data Engineer, where they are responsible for data-warehouse development, support, and performance improvement. Prior to this, they worked at Truworths as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, where they handled data-warehouse development, analysis, and Oracle OBIEE reporting. Mario also managed the service desk incidents and requests for the BI team. Before Truworths, Mario worked at Pepkor IT as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer, where they focused on data-warehouse development, support, and SAP Business Objects reporting. Additionally, they took on the role of Database Administrator, overseeing database monitoring, performance tuning, and supporting the development teams. Earlier in their career, Mario worked at Lateral Dynamics, CulminIT, and Shoprite in various IT roles.

Mario Cilliers completed their education in the field of Information Technology. Mario first attended CPUT from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Cum Laude in their ND degree in Information Technology. Following that, they pursued further education at CPUT in 2008 and obtained a BTECH degree in Information Technology.
