A Healthier Democracy
Alister Martin currently serves on the HHS Advisory Panel on Outreach and Education, providing strategic guidance to optimize outreach efforts for vulnerable patient communities. As Chief Executive Officer of A Healthier Democracy since October 2022 and a Research Faculty member with the Behavioral Insights Group at Harvard Kennedy School, Martin focuses on decision-making improvements in public health and policy. With an extensive background in medicine as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a former White House Fellow, Martin has also led initiatives aimed at voter registration through healthcare with VotER. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Symbiosis A.I., a company leveraging machine learning to enhance clinical documentation. Martin's education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
