Clark Newman has extensive experience in mission design and systems engineering, currently serving as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer at a.i. solutions since October 2009, focusing on the Gateway project's attitude control analysis for crewed spacecraft in Lunar Near Rectilinear Halo Orbit (NRHO). Previous roles at a.i. solutions included leading functions in human exploration ground navigation and flight dynamics software development, as well as database and software development in various programming languages. Clark also contributed as a Systems Engineer by spearheading efforts in satellite operational analysis and mission planning. Earlier experience includes research roles at the University of Texas at Austin in Guidance Navigation and Control and a Student Co-op position at Boeing Satellite Development Center. Clark holds both a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
