Proctor at A-List Education

Shaifah S. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and behavioral analysis. Currently serving as a Behavior Technician at Vibrant ABA since June 2023, Shaifah provides individualized in-home Applied Behavior Analysis services for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, collaborating with BCBAs to implement tailored behavior management techniques. In addition to current endeavors, Shaifah has held roles at the Board of Elections in New York City as an Accessibility/Information Inspector since August 2016, and as an Invigilator/Proctor for the New York State Board of Law Examiners since July 2015. Previous positions include proctoring SAT exams at A-List Education and delivering ABA therapy services at Learning Contingency Center and Proud Moments ABA. With a strong educational background, including a Master's in Education from Cambridge College and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY), Shaifah has also contributed to the educational sector as a history and social studies teacher within the NYC Department of Education from 2001 to 2013, fostering critical thinking and creativity among students.
