Landon Grace has a diverse work experience in academia, healthcare, and the aerospace industry. Landon began their career as an Aerospace Engineer at Cessna Aircraft Company in 2005, where they worked until 2006. Landon then joined the US Air Force as an Aerospace Engineer from 2007 to 2012. In 2013, Landon became an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami, specializing in Biomedical, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering. After three years, they moved to North Carolina State University, initially as an Assistant Professor from 2016 to 2022, and later as an Associate Professor from 2022 onwards. While at North Carolina State University, Landon also co-founded Lumata Health in 2018 and held the positions of CEO and Co-Founder, as well as Chief Science Officer & Co-Founder.
Landon Grace completed their education in Mechanical Engineering with a Ph.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma in the years 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2008 to 2009. Landon began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2002 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Landon also obtained a Private Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in February 2016.
