A.N. Deringer

Jason is Deringer’s District Manager with oversight of the Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA customer service centers. He has extensive industry knowledge of international transportation and Customs House Brokerage (CHB) and has been part of the Deringer team for over 20 years.

Jason started his career with Deringer in 2000 as a Corporate Credit Manager. He then moved into a special project management role, which allowed him to gain experience and understanding of corporate functions and exposure to Northern Border and Air/Vessel operations. Throughout his tenure, he’s held several previous management positions. He managed the Buffalo customer service center, focusing on Northern Border Customs brokerage, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. He also spent nine years leading the Seattle facility and five years in Los Angeles, successfully growing the CHB and international freight operations. In 2007, he obtained his US Customs Brokers License.

Jason actively engages with Deringer’s clients and key account relationships. He has provided years of successful onboarding implementation and customer retention through a customer-centric approach and an active role in the ongoing process.

Jarrel Pertschuk joined the Deringer family in 2020 as Director of Innovation and Technology and as a member of the leadership team. In this role, he serves as the head of our systems engineering, support, and software development teams. He works with those teams to ensure that our systems and digital products are reliable, secure, and aligned with customer and employee needs.

Jade Monahan is Deringer’s Director of Human Resources.  An HR veteran with over 25 years of experience, Jade has spent time in every facet of HR, including compensation, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, project management, training, and organizational development.

Jade brings a wealth of knowledge to Deringer’s HR team.  Her previous experience includes large, mid-sized, and small companies, and she is a New Hampshire Business Review 2021 Business Excellence Winner in the Manufacturing category for a large organization.

Jade attended [Brandeis University](/org/brandeis-university) and the [University of New Hampshire](/org/university-of-new-hampshire) with degrees in English and Journalism.  She served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of the North Country (NH) and is currently on the board of the Above the Notch Humane Society (NH).

Matt Parrott joined Deringer in 1993 and has managed operational growth in multiple lines of business. As the Director of Distribution, he is responsible for the development of Deringer’s corporate warehousing and distribution (W&D) systems with a focus on customer service, accuracy, efficiency, and profitability. In addition, he directly manages the Los Angeles and Blaine, Washington, W&D teams.

A distinguished authority in the realm of US Customs regulations, Amy Magnus plays an instrumental role in the formation of new policies and procedures, as well as in the dissemination of regulatory information to US importers. Amy frequently presents to national and international audiences at engagements such as the International Compliance Professionals Association’s Annual Conference, C5’s Advanced Forum on Global Customs Compliance, conferences hosted by the American and Canadian Conference Institutes, and Customs and Border Protections’ (CBP’s) ACE Exchange Conferences.

Sandra (Sandy) Langford-Coty is the Director of Operational Development. In this position, she strengthens Deringer’s operational efficiencies and compliance as well as increasing customer satisfaction. Based in Los Angeles, Sandy also serves Deringer as District Manager with oversight of the Los Angeles customer service center.

Jack Bender joined Deringer as Director of Sales and Marketing in March 2015. Jack has over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry and has extensive operational and sales experience. Additionally, he lends his expertise as a member of the Board of Directors for the Coalition of New England Companies for Trade (CONECT), a non-profit association for companies involved with trade.

Sandy Mayotte joined Deringer in 1996 and serves the company as Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President. Ms. Mayotte supports and provides oversight to the larger organization as an executive officer and provides functional leadership to the continuing development of Deringer’s comprehensive employee relations services, information technology, and legal and risk management programs.  In addition, she enjoys collaborative oversight of the distribution and transportation lines of business. Her extensive experience in general and administrative management contributes to the smooth functioning of Deringer’s important client support operations.

Sandy Mayotte

The Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer position requires a unique combination of strategic thinking skills, team building talents, commitment to managing the complexities of a multi-line business, and tightly monitoring the fiscal integrity of the company.  With over 25 years of experience in the financial field and specific expertise in the logistics marketplace, Bob Lawrence is well suited to fill this post at Deringer.

Bob joined the firm in 2004, having served at the supervisory level at several major public accounting firms for nine years including KPMG, a global provider of audit, tax, and advisory services. Prior to Deringer, Bob held the position of Northern Border Finance Manager for UPS Supply Chain Solutions.  Previously, Bob held the position of CFO and Treasurer of Trans-Border Customs Services, Inc., which was acquired by UPS Supply Chain Solutions in 1999.

Bob Lawrence

Jake Holzscheiter is the fifth President to lead Deringer since our founding in 1919.  A Certified Customs Specialist and a Licensed Customs Broker, Jake has been with the organization for more than 25 years.  He has held varied and progressively senior positions with the company, from branch office administration to logistics operations work in the field, to Vice President of Customs Affairs, and as Senior Vice President.  His many roles have involved day-to-day operations management, training and innovation development, and high level compliance and trade support for Deringer clients across the US and around the world.
