Sarah Halvorson is a seasoned clinical therapist with a robust background in mental health services, particularly focusing on adolescents and young adults facing eating disorders, life transitions, and sports-related injuries. Currently serving as a Clinical Therapist at A New Beginning Outpatient Treatment Center since November 2021, Sarah has also held the position of Vice President of Clinical Services and Director of Clinical Services at Ascend Consultation in Health Care from December 2019 to November 2021 and March 2013 to November 2021, respectively. Earlier career experiences include roles as Program Coordinator/Therapist at Insight Behavioral Health Centers and Clinician/Consultant at DuPage County Health Department. Sarah earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from North Dakota State University, where both an M.S. degree and advanced studies in the same field were completed from 1998 to 2005.
