Roger Smith has had a long career with A. O. Smith Corporation. Roger started in 1988 as the Manager of Governmental Affairs, where they were responsible for tracking and organizing lobbying efforts, as well as physically lobbying in Washington, DC. Roger held this role until 2011. From 1998 to 2006, they also served as the Manager of Corporate Advertising & Legislative Affairs. In 2015, they became the Director of Community Affairs, overseeing the A. O. Smith Foundation and promoting the company.
Roger Smith attended University School Milwaukee from 1965 to 1969 and graduated with a high school degree. Roger then went on to study at Lewis & Clark College from 1970 to 1974, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a focus on landscape drawing and painting.
