Kelly Manning

System Safety Engineer at A-P-T Research

Kelly Manning began their work experience as a Summer Student Intern at Lockheed Martin in 2013 and 2014. Kelly then worked as a Student Aide II at UAH Department of English from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Kelly worked as an Engineering Intern at CRM Solutions, Inc. Kelly then worked as a Basic Kinematics and Trajectory Analyst at Millennium Engineering and Integration from 2017 to 2018. Kelly joined AEgis Technologies in 2018 as a Verification Analyst and later moved to PeopleTec as a System Engineer, where they worked from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, Kelly worked at Bastion Technologies, Inc. as a System Safety Engineer from 2020 to the current date. In this role, they provided preliminary hazard analysis/list for the NASA Artemis III Program and created hazard reports for various phases of the Artemis mission. Kelly also reviewed contractor documentation for safety implications and developed/mitigated risks through hazard analysis and coordination with key stakeholders. In 2023, Kelly started working as a System Safety Engineer at APT (A-P-T Research, Inc.).

Kelly Manning attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. Kelly specialized in the field of study in Physics.
