Lynsey Peterson

Director of STEM Development at A Pass Educational Group

Lynsey Peterson has worked in a variety of roles related to science and education. Lynsey began their career in 2001 as a Field Technician at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. Lynsey then moved to the Augusta-Richmond County School District in 2002 and worked as a Science Teacher. In 2007, Peterson became a Science Teacher at York School District #1. Between 2010 and 2011, they worked as a Science Writer for NWEA, ACT, and Lesson Planet, as well as a Course Writer for FYI Online and a Science Project Contributor for Education.com. In 2012, they joined A Pass Educational Group, LLC as Director of STEM Development and Science Editor. In this role, they reviewed and edited science items from writers (Grades 3-12), provided feedback to writers, and assured the quality of project deliverables.

Lynsey Peterson attended Furman University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Lynsey also received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology and Environmental Studies from Furman University. No additional certifications were listed.
