Aeva Murtaugh is a Clinical Therapist at A Place Called Home. Prior to that, Aeva gained experience as an MFT Trainee at the San Gabriel Unified School District and as a Youth Mentor at S.A.Y. Yes!. Aeva also worked as a Home Health Aide at Senior Helpers, providing holistic care to elderly clients. Aeva holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary and a degree in Comparative Ethnic Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

A Place Called Home (APCH) is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where under-served youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, arts and well-being, and are inspired to make a meaningful difference in their communities and the world. Core programs work in conjunction with one another to support APCH members in avoiding destructive behaviors by developing life skills and providing motivation to overcome adversity, make healthy, productive choices and take advantage of the opportunities which lie before them.
