Jim Anthony has over 25 years of work experience in various finance and management roles. Jim began their career as a Loan Documentation Associate at Colorado Business Bank in 1995. From there, they moved on to Wells Fargo Bank, where they held multiple Treasury Management Sales and Implementation Associate positions. In 2006, Jim joined Colorado Business Bank again, this time as a Treasury Management Sales Officer. Jim then worked at US Bank as a Loan Administrator before transitioning to roles in the nonprofit sector, including Administrator at Canine Partners of the Rockies and Membership & Billing Manager at eGo CarShare. In 2009, Jim became the Treasurer at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and concurrently served as a Graduate Student at Regis University. In 2012, they joined PetAid Colorado as the Manager of Finance and later took on leadership positions at A Precious Child, including VP of Finance & Human Resources and Chief Financial Officer.

Jim Anthony has a diverse education history spanning over several years. Jim obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Art History from the University of Colorado Boulder. Jim later pursued further education by earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from Regis University. Jim also acquired a Masters of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Moreover, they attended the Denver Paralegal Institute to study Paralegal Studies. Alongside their formal education, Jim has obtained several certifications, including "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences", "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging", and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn.
