Mark Taylor is the Managing and Creative Director at A Productions Ltd, a Bristol-based award-winning production company with over 33 years of experience in creating standout animation for clients globally. In addition, Taylor serves as the Managing and Creative Director of A For Animation, a studio that provides development, production, and consultancy services in animation since 1985. Previously, Taylor held the position of Creative Director at 3Line Media, a media company linked to A Productions, specializing in creative development and animation production. Taylor holds a BA (Hons) in Design from the University of the West of England.

We make iconic, award-winning animated content for children’s TV & film - and we've been telling stories authentically since 1985. We’re trusted to work with some of the world’s most iconic characters. Notable productions include: JoJo and Gran Gran for CBeebies, the first UK preschool animation to centre around a black British family; Love Monster for CBeebies; The Tweenies for CBeebies; and The Monster at the End of This Story, Sesame Street’s first ever animated special for Sesame Workshop. We’ve created content for many leading UK and US broadcasters and streamers including CITV, Channel 4, CBeebies, HBO Max, CBBC and BBC Education. Our significant creative input into our productions, the versatility of our design capabilities and content, achieved through an in-house full service, multi-disciplinary team, and expertise in integrating animation with live action make us stand out from the rest. Our 150-strong team works from two offices in Bristol on a full slate that ranges from short films to series production to interstitials and idents, as well as new projects in development. Inclusion, diversity and wellbeing are at the heart of our approach, with our studio offering bespoke training supporting people into the industry through non-traditional routes.
