Marco Arts has extensive experience in IT risk management and auditing, currently serving as Manager IT Risk and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ASR since May 2012. Previously, Marco held the position of Assistant Audit Manager at ASR Nederland from April 2008 to April 2012 and at Fortis from 1999 to 2008. The early career included a role as IT Auditor at Ernst & Young from 1995 to 1999. Marco's educational background includes degrees in IT Audit from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and IBO - Instituut voor Bedrijfskunde, along with a degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
