Martijn Davelaar

Martijn Davelaar serves as the Coördinator Team Specials Volmachten and Underwriter Property at a.s.r. since April 2011, overseeing a team of ten specialists in property insurance, focusing on fire, liability, and fleet risks. Prior to this role, Martijn was involved in underwriting large commercial fire risks and held the position of Brandspecialist. In addition, Martijn participated in a working group at the Verbond van Verzekeraars from November 2022 to September 2023, contributing to a white paper on timber construction. Earlier experience includes conducting research for a bachelor thesis at Centraal Beheer on the Automotive Package Policy. Martijn holds a degree in Technische Bedrijfskunde from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and multiple certifications in insurance and risk management.
