Nijela Phillips

Nijela Phillips currently serves as the Lead Case Manager at A Safe Haven Foundation, where responsibilities include reporting to the Program Manager of the Family Interim Program and training new staff. Previously, Nijela held various roles at the Chicago Transit Authority, including Bus Operator and Case Management Specialist. With experience dating back to 2011 at A Safe Haven Foundation and CCIL as a Case Manager and Recovery Specialist, Nijela has been involved in client assessments, referrals, and documentation, managing a caseload of forty clients. Nijela's education includes an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the City Colleges of Chicago-Malcolm X College.
