Susan Csonka Lcsw

Susan Csonka, LCSW has over 10 years of professional experience in various roles related to compliance, quality improvement, and social work. Susan is currently the Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement at A Safe Haven Foundation since July 2021, where they previously served as the Manager of Compliance and Quality Improvement from May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Family Health Network as the Quality Improvement Manager from February 2019 to May 2019, and as a Quality Improvement Specialist from December 2017 to February 2019. Susan also held the position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Family Health Network from March 2015 to December 2017. Additionally, Susan worked as a Licensed Social Worker at Thresholds from July 2013 to February 2015. Susan gained valuable research experience as a Research Assistant in the Work Scheduling Study at The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration from June 2012 to July 2013. Susan started their career as a Graduate Social Work Intern at Employee Resource Systems, Inc. from September 2012 to June 2013, and as a Graduate Counseling Intern at Salvation Army Family and Community Services from September 2011 to June 2012. Susan'searly experience includes working as a Victim Assistance Social Work Intern at Monroe County Prosecutor's Office from August 2010 to November 2011, where they provided counseling, case management, safety planning, crisis intervention, and resource referrals to survivors of sexual and domestic violence, elder abuse, and other crimes.

Susan Csonka, LCSW received their B.A in Social Work from Indiana University Bloomington. Susan then went on to earn their M.A. in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice in 2013.
