Amy Garbis is a seasoned writing instructor and community leader with extensive experience in educational and fundraising initiatives. As a Founding Partner at A Starting Line since April 2020 and Founder of The Write Gang since August 2013, Garbis specializes in private writing instruction and creative writing workshops, particularly focusing on college application essays. A member of the Grass Roots Fund Raising committee for Northern New England Hadassah since 2011, Garbis contributes to regional fundraising strategies. Previous roles include founding member of the Community Endowment of Lexington, Co-President of Arlington-Lexington Hadassah, and adjunct faculty instructor at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. With a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Georgia State University, Garbis brings a strong educational background to their professional endeavors.
