Jill Schafer Boarts

Jill Schafer Boarts has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jill began their career as a Stringer for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 1979, and later worked as an Associate Editor/Reporter for The Sewickley Herald. In 1981, they joined Marketplace Publications as an Editor/Writer before moving on to Southprint Corporation and Gimbels in similar roles. In 1986, they became an Editor/Advertising Coordinator/University Relations at the University of Pittsburgh, and then transitioned to a role as AVP/Marketing and Admissions at EDMC. Following that, Jill worked at PNC Financial Services Group as AVP/Manager Internal Communications. Most recently, they served as SVP/Marketing at A to Z Communications, a position they held since 2005.

Jill Schafer Boarts attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1975 to 1979, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Political Science.
