A.U.S.R. Orca
Niek Oldeman is a Project Engineer in Hydrogen at Hystream, with a commitment to sustainability demonstrated through ongoing involvement with the sustainability committee and sustainability consultations at A.U.S.R. Orca since October 2021. Niek has also played a key role in organizing the 2023 Orca Competitie Slotwedstrijden, a prominent rowing event in Amsterdam. Other professional experiences include coaching and training Dames 10 at USHC, serving as a thesis student in the Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis group, and various roles in customer service and maintenance at Bever, Decathlon Nederland, and Albert Heijn. Niek holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Global Sustainability Science from Utrecht University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy Technology at Delft University of Technology.

De Algemene Utrechtse Studenten Roeivereniging Orca heeft een jarenlange geschiedenis van hard roeien die ervoor heeft gezorgd dat ze zich kan meten met andere verenigingen op zowel nationaal als internationaal niveau. In haar gelederen bevinden zich fanatieke sporters, waaronder wereldkampioenen, maar ook sportieve studenten die er zitten voor de gezelligheid.
