Martin Karner

Martin Karner currently serves as the B2B Service Cluster Lead Network Services at A1 Telekom Austria AG, where responsibilities include end-to-end management of B2B services within the Network Cluster, encompassing LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN. With a comprehensive background in telecommunications, Martin has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of IP Business Engineering and Head of Production Corporate Networks, focusing on enterprise products in the ICT network and security segment. Additionally, Martin has been actively involved in volleyball officiating as Head of National Beach- & Snow Volleyball Refereeing for the Austrian Volleyball Federation and serves as an International Beach- & Snow Volleyball Referee for the FIVB. Martin's earlier experiences include various engineering and coaching positions, contributing to a robust expertise in both technical and managerial capacities in network services and sports leadership. Martin holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Networks from the University of Derby and an Ing. in IT from HTL Spengergasse.
