Derek Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Derek began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Wuhan Digital Engineering Institute tech Ltd. in 1993, where they worked until 1997. Derek then joined Sun Microsystems as a Technical Consultant, responsible for training customers and employees on various technical courses, until 2002. Following that, Derek worked as a Pre-sales at CA Technologies for a year. In 2003, they joined Headway Technologies Co, Ltd as a Technical Support Manager, where they provided technical support for the sales team and worked closely with the sales director to secure major deals. In 2006, Derek joined Avocent -- an Emerson division as a National Account Manager and served in this role until 2012. Currently, they are working as a Sales Manager at A10 Networks since October 2012.
Derek Zhang completed their education at Central China Normal University. From 1989 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Following this, they further expanded their knowledge in the same field by obtaining a Master's Degree from the same university, studying from 1996 to 1999.
