John Heavey

John Heavey has extensive experience in the film and media industry, currently serving in Media & Research and Distribution roles at A24 since January 2013. Prior to this, John worked at Focus Features as part of the Alternative Content and Distribution team and gained valuable experience in various positions, including Development at Big Beach Films, Production Coordinator at Artist's Public Domain, and Development/Production at Verismilitude Films. John holds a Master's degree in Cinema Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in English, Media and Society, and European Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Early career roles included positions at the Film Society of Lincoln Center and as a Production Assistant at Happy Madison, among others.
