Gerhard Quist

Gerhard Quist, born in Rotterdam in 1968, has a diverse background in maritime disciplines that encompasses both seagoing roles and shore-based management. They had a seagoing career until 2000, working on various vessels including tankers and ferries, before transitioning to roles such as Marine Superintendent and Fleet Manager with various shipping companies. Gerhard founded Quist Maritime Services, where they operated until 2022, and currently serves as the Managing Director of Ship Management at A2B-online. They hold a master's degree in Management Business Administration from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and are a qualified auditor in ISM, ISPS, and ISO standards.
