Diane Manry

Diane Manry has a diverse work experience background. Diane is currently working as a Scientist at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the same company from October 2020 to March 2022. Diane also worked as a Freelance Editor at Cactus Communications from February 2019 to October 2020.

In terms of academic research, Diane worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Yale University in June 2020 and July 2020. Diane also pursued their Ph.D. at Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where they worked as a Ph.D. Candidate in the Laboratory of Tian Xu, Department of Genetics. Their thesis focused on the activation of Hippo signaling through the repression of Dachs, specifically studying a novel complementation group of mutations that cooperate with oncogenic Ras to produce "cyst-like" tumor formation in Drosophila. This role lasted from August 2014 to May 2020.

Before their Ph.D., Diane gained research experience during their undergraduate studies. Diane worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Laboratory of Dr. Paul Schedl, Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University, where they studied germ cell migration in Drosophila melanogaster embryos from March 2013 to May 2014. Diane also worked in the Laboratory of Dr. Jacques Fresco, Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University. Their research focused on finding evidence for the role of depurination sites in promoting genetic diversity from June 2012 to August 2012.

Diane also participated in the Princeton in Beijing program at Princeton University, where they engaged in intensive Chinese language immersion and study from June 2011 to August 2011.

During their undergraduate studies, Diane worked as an SAT Tutor at Top Test Prep from August 2013 to May 2014. Diane also gained research experience as a Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Dr. Jian Yang, Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington from June 2010 to August 2010, and as a Research Assistant at the same university from June 2009 to August 2009.

Diane Manry completed their high school education at The Oakridge School, earning a High School Diploma from 2003 to 2010. Diane then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Molecular Biology at Princeton University from 2010 to 2014. Following that, Diane attended Yale University from 2014 to 2020, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology.
