Jeoung Hyun Kawk

Jeoung Hyun Kawk has a diverse work experience in the fields of biotechnology and biomedical research. They started their career as a Purification Chemist at BioLegend in 2012. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Process Development Associate at Agensys, Inc., where they gained experience in process development. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, focusing on investigating the influence of fixing and staining processes on mitochondrial morphology and studying the effect of different cytokines on cardiomyocyte size. Afterward, they joined City of Hope as a CBG Associate from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Jeoung Hyun Kawk holds a position at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Process Development Engineer I, where they started in July 2021. Their responsibilities include process development and engineering.

Jeoung Hyun Kawk obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego from 2008 to 2012. Afterwards, from 2015 to 2017, Jeoung pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine.
