Lu Min Wong

Lu Min Wong has a strong background in scientific research and development, with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Lu Min currently serves as the Director of Therapeutic Technology at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc., a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to this role, Lu Min Wong worked at Amgen for a significant portion of their career, serving as the Principal Scientist in the Biosimilars Business Unit from 2017 to 2020. Lu Min also held the position of Principal Scientist in the Inflammation Research department at Amgen from 2004 to 2016. Additionally, Lu Min Wong worked as a Research Scientist III/IV in Pharmacology/Pathology at Amgen from 2000 to 2004. Before joining Amgen, they were a Senior Research Scientist at Celgene Corp from 1996 to 1999.

Lu Min Wong's education history includes a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, with a focus on cell adhesion and Dictyostelium discoideum, from the University of Toronto, which was obtained between 1982 to 1988. Following this, Lu Min Wong worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the PGEC, UC Berkeley, from 1988 to 1993, where the field of study focused on gene expression and anti-sense RNA. Lastly, Lu Min Wong attended the Gladstone Institute for Cardiovascular Disease from 1993 to 1995 as a Postdoctoral Fellow, specializing in CCR2 signaling.
