Alfredo Espinoza Rhoton

Technical Lead at A2e Technologies

Alfredo Espinoza Rhoton has been working in the technology industry since 2009. From 2009-2011, they worked as an Embedded Systems Programmer for Freescale Semiconductor, where they developed recognition algorithms on multitouch tactile screens and iridium tin oxide technologies for embedded devices. Alfredo also developed a 3D visualization program for debugging multitouch applications at the ITESM Electronic Design Center in Campus Guadalajara. From 2009-2013, they were a Firmware Developer and Wireless Communication Researcher for Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they developed a reconfigurable WiFi IEEE 802. 11b and ZigBee 802. 15. In 2009, they were an Undergraduate Researcher for Hampton University, where they compared measurements from the AURA and OMI Satellites to in situ measurements under the tutoring of Dr. JAMES RUSELL III. Alfredo was also an Application Developer for UNIVERSIDAD DE GUADALAJARA, SEMS, DECAD, where they developed and registered a multimedia program “BALANCING EQUATIONS” for stoichiometry and balancing equations. From 2015-present, they have been working as a Technical Lead and Embedded System Architect for A2e Technologies. In this role, they are an Embedded Engineer responsible for design proposals, RTL design, IP integration, Linux drivers, HAL, user space code (Windows/Linux). Alfredo also designed a custom FPGA bridge interface for a custom copper to fiber optic adapter, and was responsible for FPGA/uBlaze/Kernel/Userpsace code, simulation and testing.

Alfredo Espinoza Rhoton attended Preparatoria Regional de Chapala from 2005 to 2008. Alfredo then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronic Technologies Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2008 to 2012. Alfredo also holds certifications from Mentor Graphics in System Verilog for Verification and SystemVerilog Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) obtained in June 2014, as well as a Xilinx Alliance Certification obtained in January 2016.
