Michiel Kraak has extensive experience in various roles within the technology industry. Michiel started their career as the Corporate Development Director at Joh. Enschede in 2001, where they were responsible for corporate strategy, M&A, and technology policies. During their time at Joh. Enschede, they also served as the General Manager of the Biometric Security business unit and CEO of Dartagnan Biometric Solutions, a joint-venture established with Schiphol International. In 2002, Michiel became the CEO of Dartagnan Biometric Solutions, where they managed the company and led sales activities in the Far East and the US. Since 2004, they have been the Managing Director and Owner of A2Z Technology.
Michiel Kraak holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from Delft University of Technology from 1986 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the same university from 1980 to 1986.
